At “Fresh” Natural Asian cooking classes you’ll discover the secret to preparing and cooking traditional, aromatic Asian dishes with a healthy twist. Our aim is to educate locals and visitors that Asian cooking can be fun, fresh and healthy when made from scratch following traditional recipes. Learn to cook new foods from regional areas of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Discover the taste and variety of original South-East Asian recipes handed down through the generations.
Taking away a newfound knowledge, you will be armed with recipes to become your own Asian culinary expert at home. Experiment with secret spices you learned about, or alternatively, purchase our own special mixed spice blends imported from Asia. Simply add ingredients and cook.
Our cooking classes are themed on regional cuisines, which are rotated throughout the year, so you can keep coming back to learn traditional cooking techniques from many parts of South-East Asia. Our chefs bring a whole “wok” full of experience and good humour to the intimate Noosa cooking classes we offer. Renown legend Shelly Phanich has owned over 20 Thai restaurants herself in the Noosa area and her exotic tastes and character exudes over the cooking bench to others. Paul Roets has had an extensive career in many top restaurants in Australia and around the world and has always had a love for Asian fusions. They bring a “Fresh” a wealth of cooking experience and knowledge from their own country and broadly across South-East Asia.
Classes available on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday at 10.30am-12.30pm and 3.30-5.30pm. Saturdays only has morning class at 10.30am-12.30pm. We just need 3 persons for a class with a maximum of 6 to give each person a “hands on” experience.
Learn, have fun and eat the spoils of your labour at an intro offer of just $65 per person, maximum six people per class. Our two-hour Noosaville cooking classes are conducted at “Fresh’s” purpose-built cooking station on the deck overlooking the sparkling Noosa River. Following expert instruction, participants will each cook three meals at their own station.
